  • Jewelry Highlights at the Golden Globe – from Simple to Sensational

What an award-winning night last night, huh? I don’t remember the last time the Golden Globes received such a buzz. As for the fashion and the jewelry, we saw everything from the understated like these stud earrings worn by actress Anne Hathaway:

    null

To the the over-the-top, as seen by Jessica Alba who sported this $5.7 million (gulp!) Harry Winston diamond necklace.

Here are a few other knockout necklaces:

  • Spotlight on our Moissanite and Diamond Halo Cathedral Engagement Ring

We wanted to take a nano moment to focus on a popular engagement ring. Why does this ring continually catch eyes? The cathedral setting is both simple and sophisticated in look, winning over both women who prefer to make a statement and those who want an elegant and understated ring.

    What is an cathedral setting?

It’s a setting which integrates arches that frame the engagement ring mounting. Just as cathedrals around the world all possess unique architecture with varying arches, cathedral settings may also have many variations.

In short, this ring has universal appeal…and better yet, currently on sale!

  • Subtle Drop Earrings in 2013

When I reviewed this year’s trends in jewelry, I couldn’t help but feel a little relieved. Why? They seemed manageable! Customers should be able to partake in these trends and sometimes, if they’re too far-fetched (some of the more outrageuous statement necklaces, for instance), I just don’t see the average Jane donning them, especially in Scottsdale.

But as you’ll see from JCK’s list, many of the items are affordable and not too over-the-top.

    Here’s an example:

Subtle Drop Earrings. They make a slightly bigger statement than last year’s studs—widely worn on the red carpet—and coordinate with many a fashion silhouette, so the petite drop earring is a style to watch this year. They also made a splash on the red carpet in 2012 at the Golden Globes, and will nicely complement spring’s full skirts, and romantic and flouncy effects.
