“This is the probably the prettiest piece I have from you.”
Oh my god! This is the probably the prettiest piece I have from you. The fine details are amazing! I love sapphires, especially in rose gold. I’m not sure why I go for anything else.

An Amethyst in Motion

-
Amethyst was once revered as the “jewel of the gods”.

-
Amethyst has been used to symbolize deep love, happiness, humility, sincerity and wealth.
-
Long ago, farmers believed wearing amethyst would protect their crops from hailstones and locusts.
-
The Hebrew word for amethyst is “ahlamah” which means “dream”; thus, the stone was supposed to cause lovely dreams and visions… and if you dream of amethyst you will be free from harm.

How to get an accurate ring size, which ring sizer to use
People often ask how to get an accurate ring size. This all depends. For normal, narrow/dainty rings you would use the narrow ring sizers. For regular fit, flat on the inside, wide rings and bands, you would use the wide ring sizers. For comfort fit bands, whether narrow or wide, we recommend using the narrow sizers because comfort fit bands are rounded on the inside.
Most alternative metal bands today are comfort fit, so they are rounded on the inside. It’s best to have your ring sized with comfort fit sizers but most jewelers don’t have these. If they do not, then the narrow sizers work well.
The reason for the different ring sizers is because bands that are non comfort fit, or that are flat on the inside, tend to fit more snug than comfort fit bands as there is more surface area touching your finger.

Jewelry that’s Just Right for an Interview
When going on a job interview, the focus should be on you and your amazing mind, not on your fashion choice or accessories. With that said, a few choice pieces of smart jewelry can enhance, show taste, and add a touch of professional bling guaranteed to send the right message to your lucky employer-to-be.
Acceptable Job Interview Jewelry
- Wedding ring or a small band.
- Small, thin necklace.
- Small, non-religious pendant made of metal, pearls or a muted color.
- Single bracelet or professional watch.
- Earrings (studs, small hoops, or dangle earrings that do not draw attention).
You do not want your jewelry to take attention away from your face. Any jewelry that is bright, gaudy, large or odd should be avoided. (Source: Every Day Interview.)
We like our Classic Solitaire necklace for the job.
