A client came to us with his wife’s favorite necklace to have re created. The original was costume jewelry, made from base metal and imitation stones. We custom made a new necklace using 14kt white gold, natural blue sapphire, blue topaz and aquamarine stones. The shiny new favorite is shown on the left and the original on the right.

This is how a ring looks in the middle of the process. The ring on the right is the one that we're copying for our client and the ring on the left is about half way finished. We're now having stones specially cut to fit each of the elongated spaces. Princess cut diamonds will top off each stone. We added a solid back to give the ring some heft! We'll post a photo of the finished piece when we get it back. We're nearly there Bruce!!

We just realized we haven’t been posting many of the custom diamond engagement rings that we’ve been finishing! So, here’s a classic platinum beauty with pave set diamonds and a square radiant cut diamond in the center. We are able to make this ring with virtually any size and shape stone in the center.

Congratulations goes to
Courtney Semeniuk and his wife Nikki for winning 27% of the votes of the Custom Jewelry Design Contest with
his Azure Dream entry, a custom made 14kt white gold engagement ring
and matching wedding band made with natural diamonds and natural
sapphires.
Here’s the great part about the Semeniuk’s winning is this contest. The day we notified them that they had the winning entry was the same day they brought their new baby, Leland, home from the hospital. How cool is that???
Here are the final results for the contest. Click on the image to see a larger view.

Our final Custom Jewelry Design Contest entry is a timeless, classic, elegant design. Cecelia brought us an image from a world renowned jewelry design house and we made minor changes to suite her taste. Good luck to all the participants!

Hi Beth,
It’s here and it’s perfect and I love it!!!!!
Can’t believe how quickly it came, wasn’t expecting it until next week so was a lovely surprise.
Just want to say a massive thankyou again all
your help and please pass on a HUGE thankyou to your goldsmith for
doing such an amazing job.
I’ve attached some pics so you can see how well they go together, exactly how I imagined and hoped them to be!
Thanks again from the happiest (and sparkliest!) bride in the world,
Kerry

Back in February, we sent out an email showcasing a custom made trillion and black diamond wedding set (shown here in right hand image).
We just finished the matching gents band. For his band we replaced the larger, single trillion shape diamond and smaller white pave set diamonds for three identical trillion shape natural diamonds. Both have pave set black side diamonds.
In addition, we added a squared off shank to add a little more design and to help keep the ring facing upright. Giving this ring a square shank along with making it in platinum assured a very hefty piece of fine jewelry!
