Dan and Diane's Proposal
Hey Joe,
On September 15, 2010, Diane and I took an excursion into Rome from the cruise ship. Our excursion took us to the Vatican City where we walked through the Vatican museum. Then we went through the Sistine Chapel, and to St. Peter’s Basilica. There, in the middle of the Basilica, I pulled Diane from the tour into an open space. I held her hand and looked her in the eye and said: “Baby, we’ve seen some of the most beautiful things today, created by the hand of God, but nothing as beautiful as you,” as I dropped to my knee and showed her the engagement ring. Then I said, “I love you so much, will you marry me?” She started to cry and said: “I would love to…I love you so much.” I put the ring on her finger and had a deep romantic kiss as the folks looking on started to clap. That photo was sent to me by someone on the tour. People we didn’t even know were coming up to us and giving us hugs and kisses. It was awesome.
P.S. Thank you Joe, so much for helping me with the ring. It made a beautiful experience really shine.

And in some way, with my own decadent pleasures, you have given me the ability to spoil myself with what I love the most, high quality jewellery.

I am so sorry this message has come so late, but I just wanted to thank you for my gorgeous ring! It is more than I could have ever imagined! I am truly amazed at the craftsmanship and all the intricate, diligent work that went into the creation of this extraordinary ring. It is absolutely beautiful and even after having it for several months, (he surprised me with it in April,) it still catches my eye! M and I plan on getting married next May, and will hopefully get to talk to you soon about a matching wedding band!

It is with great pleasure that I ask this commentary to the Schubach site. Several years ago while living in Florida, I became aware of this company. I made several emails and calls to Beth about perhaps making a ring for me. Time flew by, but I never lost sight of the dream that one day . . . Fast forward to October 2010. I found one of my emails, and made the call to Schubach’s store. Beth remembered me, and we started to chat about the possible design of my ring. It grew and grew until, and was refined with conversations, pictures and emails with Joe and Beth. Before I comment on this ring, I want you all to know you can not find finer people any where! They possess kindness, patience and knowledge, not to mention design ability. Now to my ring – WOW is all I can say. My expectations on design, beauty,appearance and ON TIME – “faster than ON TIME” delivery.
