We love platinum here at Joseph Schubach Jewelers. And when the stars wear it, we’re all over it. Platinum has increased drastically over the years and made its way to red carpets all over the world. This recent Golden Globes award ceremony were no exception.

This rock is just a tad too big to be worn around the neck. And maybe just a bit out of most of our price ranges! But boy, what an amazing specimen. Even if you’re not a gem fanatic like we are, you’ll still be “green” with envy:

On JJ’s ring, we added a solid back along with new diamonds and a new center stone, retipped the prongs as needed and cleaned/refinished the entire ring.

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara was quite the hit of the Golden Globes this week, with her stunning navy blue Vera Wang gown and her purported 5 million dollars worth of jewelry. Our only question? Where? The Harry Winston earrings are worth that much?
