The Most Winning Super Bowl Rings

We have a confession to make: we’re not thrilled with last year’s Superbowl ring. We’re hoping that the Broncos will don something much more fashionable.

Here’s some cool facts about last year’s ring via ESPN.

1. The rings cost $36,500 each and are the most expensive ever produced by Jostens.

2. Kraft purchased 150 rings for a total of $5.475 million.

3. There are 4.85 carats in each ring.

We liked the earlier incarnations. Stylish, simpler lines and less elaborate in design approach (which seems more fitting for a football player, in our humble opinion):

Green Bay Packers, 1967

New York Jets, 1969

Kansas City Chiefs, 1970.

The Miami Dolphins completed the only undefeated season in NFL history to secure this handsome piece of finger wear.

Miami Dolphins, 1972

The Cowboys have the simplest, most recognizable logo in the league, and their first title ring highlights it beautifully.
