We just posted two more custom entries to the gallery page. The Arlington moissanite anniversary band is a variation of the classic 5 stone version. Stephanie Kellen’s moissanite pendant is simple and elegant, inspired by a leading jewelry designer.

A long time client/friend of ours brought us the idea for these earrings. They’re 60mm in diameter (roughly 2 1/2") and have pave set diamonds on the inside and outside surfaces. By setting them this way, the only thing you see are diamonds. It’s a continuous circle of sparkle!
A big name international jewelry company sells these for a price that’s well into the tens of thousands of dollars and we’re able to sell them for a fraction of this!

Handmade Comfort Fit Wedding Bands With A Princess Cut Moissanite Or Natural Diamond
We just added these handmade,
heavy, comfort fit wedding bands with either a .16ct flush set princess
cut moissanite (diamond equivalent) or natural diamond. The rings measure 7mm wide and are available in all 14kt white
gold or two tone 14kt rose and white gold.
The two tone version is definitely unique, you don’t see too many rose gold wedding bands. Both options feature high polish sides with a brushed finish center to enhance the contrast of the metals and to bring out the brilliance of the diamond or moissanite. Both bands can be customized, so if you have an idea, give us a call and we’ll help you with it.

Beth and company-
My anniversary ring just arrived and I am completely blown away by
the beauty of the stones. I love, love, love the setting and I really
am at a loss for words to describe how stunning the Chatham sapphires
and moissanite look together. Thank you for creating the perfect
anniversary ring for me. My husband was so pleased to see such quality
workmanship from an online jeweler. We both agree that your company will be
the place we go to when we need something else.
This ring was
definitely worth the twenty year wait!!
From the bottom of our hearts- thank you…

We recently brought this 1 1/2ct round fancy blue color diamond in for a client we’re working with. It’s a natural diamond enhanced to this beautiful blue color. The cut is excellent giving it great sparkle and brilliance.
Color enhanced diamonds are a great value. Natural, non enhanced fancy color diamonds like this can easily run in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. A color enhanced diamond actually costs less than a near colorless diamond.

There’s a whole lot of Love in this piece! For several years now Joseph Schubach Jewelers has been casting custom pendants for the Unity Church of Phoenix. Here is a prototype sample for their new design that we tested out on a sheet of brass. We ended up making a few changes from what you see here, like knocking out the space in the letter E’s and adjusting the height of the letter P’s. The final pieces will be made in sterling silver and available at their bookstore.

We just made this pair of natural trillion shape diamond stud earrings. They weigh just over 2 carats in total but they look much larger, more like 2 carats each! Trillion shape diamonds are generally cut wider with less depth than other shape diamonds. This gives them a much larger look for the size.

A few weeks ago we sent out a press release about a fund raiser for the Arizona Theater Company. In it we mentioned that we were designing and donating a custom made ring for the event. (Download Press Release)
The fund raiser took place March 16th at the Phoenician resort and was a huge success. It hosted a fashion show featuring gowns designed by Dancing with the Stars’ Randall Christensen and 30 original designs by William Travilla, the designer of the famous white dress worn by Marilyn Monroe.
The crown ring was raffled off and
Mary Artigue of Phoenix, Arizona, was the lucky winner! The ring is completely hand crafted in 18kt yellow gold and has round cut amethyst, tsavorite (green) garnets, natural and cultured pearls. (click on the image for a larger view)
Green garnets? Most people think of garnets as the brownish red color gem that is the birthstone for January. Tsavorite garnets range in colors from light green to a beautiful grass green to a deep forest green. It is a relatively new gemstone, discovered in Tanzania in 1967 and not commercially mined and marketed until the early 1970s by Tiffany and Co. Tsavorite garnets are great for jewelry because of their affordability, beautiful colors and their relative durability compared with emerald. They are available in smaller sizes up to a couple of carats. For additional information on these gems, visit the International Colored Gemstone Association Website.
Amethyst, on the other hand, has a long and rich history. The birthstone for February, amethyst is a stone of royalty. It is rumored to have many miraculous powers from aiding in health to bringing fortune to driving away evil spirits.
We like amethyst because it’s beautiful, affordable and because it’s available in our back yard, in addition to the supernatural powers!
Friends of ours, Mike and Jerry Romanella, run the Arizona Four Peaks amethyst mine just outside of Phoenix where they are producing very high quality material.
Several years ago we were lucky enough to take the 4 hour hike and tour the mine. For more info on amethyst visit the ICGA website. For additional information on the Arizona Four Peaks amethyst mine visit the Four Peaks amethyst website.
